# Welcome to Freway

## What is Freway?

Freway adds an AI agent called Janine to your store. She does two jobs:

1. **Checkout Agent**: Detects when a buyer hesitates at checkout, engages them in real time, and helps more purchases complete.
2. **Lifecycle Agent**: After purchase, she handles nurturing, cross-sells, and winback through 1:1 conversations instead of batch campaigns.

She talks to buyers over email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice calls, and live chat. She can answer product questions, recommend items, and add products to their cart mid-conversation.

She's not a discount code blaster. She has actual conversations, trained on your brand voice and your product knowledge.

Watches checkout behavior and steps in when a buyer stalls. Answers questions, suggests alternatives, helps with declined payments.

#### Lifecycle Agent

Handles post-purchase follow-up, cross-sells, winback, and pre-purchase nurturing through 1:1 conversations instead of batch campaigns.

#### Multi-channel outreach

Janine reaches buyers on email, SMS, WhatsApp, voice, and live chat. She picks the best channel for each person.

#### Cross-merchant intelligence

Objection strategies are shared anonymously across the Freway network. Buyers who opted in elsewhere get one-click checkout.

#### Knowledge base

Upload your policies, FAQs, and product guides. Janine uses them to give accurate, on-brand answers.

#### Analytics dashboard

See how much revenue Janine generates and which channels are working.

## How it works

1. A buyer visits your store and starts checkout.
2. Freway watches the checkout and reads the signals: cart value, browsing behavior, how far they got.
3. If the buyer hesitates, Janine steps in on the best channel with a message that fits the situation.
4. If the buyer has questions, Janine handles them. She can suggest products, explain your policies, or help them finish checkout.
5. The buyer completes the purchase. The Lifecycle Agent takes over for follow-up, cross-sells, and winback.
6. You pay commission only on the sales Janine closes at checkout.
