Cross-merchant intelligence
How the network works
When a buyer opts in at any Freway store, their encrypted profile works across the network. If they’ve already checked out at Store A, they get instant checkout at Store B. No new account, no forms.
This is identity resolution, not data sharing. No personally identifiable information crosses merchant boundaries.
What gets shared
Freway classifies every resolved checkout objection and builds anonymized playbooks from the results:
- Objection patterns: “Buyer hesitated on shipping cost” is a pattern. The specific buyer, store, and cart are not shared.
- Resolution strategies: Which response resolved the objection? Freway tests these across stores in similar verticals.
- Vertical detection: A strategy that works in fashion gets tested in beauty. Freway detects your store’s vertical automatically and applies relevant playbooks.
What it means for your store
Buyers who opted in elsewhere get one-click checkout at your store since their shipping and payment info is already filled in. Janine’s responses also improve from resolved objections across the whole network, not just yours. If you’re new, you still get the benefit of what the network has already learned.
Privacy
Freway uses consent-first identity resolution. Buyers opt in once, and their consent is specific and revocable. No PII crosses merchant boundaries.
