Requirements

  • An e-commerce store on a supported platform.
  • You need to be the store owner or have staff permissions that include app management.

Install Freway

  1. Go to the Freway dashboard and follow the installation flow for your platform.
  2. Approve the permissions Freway needs. These include reading your products, orders, customers, and checkout data. Freway needs these to know what’s in a buyer’s cart and to help them complete their purchase.
  3. After approving, you’ll land on the Freway dashboard.

What happens during install

When you install Freway, a few things get set up automatically:

  • Checkout tracking pixel gets added to your store. This watches checkout events (page views, form fills, payment attempts) so Freway knows where a buyer is in the process.
  • Chat widget extension becomes available in your theme. You can enable it to add Janine’s live chat to your storefront.
  • Webhook subscriptions are created so Freway gets notified about new orders, checkouts, and billing events.

You don’t need to touch any code. Everything installs through your platform’s standard extension system.

Choose a plan

After installing, you’ll see a billing screen where you pick a plan. All plans come with a 7-day free trial, so you can test things out before committing. See the Plans page for a full comparison.
